G-Star Rar Presents Eva Shaw FW16 Capsule Collection

February this year, G-Star RAW and Pharrell Williams announced their strategic partnership in which Pharrell Williams is co-owner of the jeans brand and titled ‘Head of Imagination’. Following the recent eyewear collaboration, G-Star RAW has once again joined forces with DJ and producer, Eva Shaw. The result of their second partnership is a capsule collection for the Fall/Winter 2016 season.
Inspired by Eva’s signature silhouette, the collection revolves around her go-to outfit: skinny jeans, a cropped top and bomber jacket. As the collection falls during the 20th anniversary of the Elwood 5620 jeans, a super-skinny version of the iconic denim (in both distressed bleach and coated black) was the perfect starting point for the capsule.
In addition to the 5620 Ultra Skinny Jeans, the 8-piece capsule collection includes a standout satin bomber jacket, a cropped t-shirt and sweater, as well as a baseball jersey and a stretch tank. An eye-catching graphical treatment fuses ‘Eva’ with the iconic three-letter ‘RAW’, while the capsule’s color palette combines black, white and bottle green; all coming together to deliver fresh fall essentials – perfect for festival season and beyond.
