Qatar Executive To Exhibit At Middle East Business Aviation Association In Dubai
Qatar Executive – the largest Gulfstream G650ER operator in the world – will showcase the latest aircraft to join its fleet at the exhibition
Qatar Executive will welcome partners and visitors on board its latest Gulfstream G650ER – one of the world’s fastest business jets – during its participation in the Middle East Business Aviation Association show 2016 taking place 6-8 December at Dubai World Central.
Qatar Executive will be showcasing the popular business jet, the third addition to its fleet of Gulfstream G650ERs, and giving visitors the opportunity to experience the aircraft’s luxurious interior, which offers customers the widest and most spacious cabin available among all super-large business jets flying today.
Executive Vice President, Qatar Executive, Mr. Ettore Rodaro commented on the upcoming participation at the exhibition: “We look forward to meeting our partners and guests at the Middle East Business Aviation Association show, one of the leading aviation exhibitions in the world, and presenting our Gulfstream G650ER to thousands of professionals from across the global business aviation industry.”
“The G650ER is one of the world’s most technologically advanced next-generation aircraft. For Qatar Executive and our customers it truly represents the future of private air travel, offering a superior flying experience with unrivaled design, comfort and class.”
Qatar Airways announced an order for a further three Gulfstream G650ERs earlier this year at the Farnborough Airshow, increasing Qatar Executive’s total aircraft on order to 30, which will position Qatar Executive as the largest Gulfstream operator in the Middle East.
The Qatar Executive G650ER aircraft can easily fly non-stop from the Middle East to North America or from destinations in Asia to Africa – further, faster than any other jet of its kind. Qatar Executive’s G650ER aircraft features a two-cabin configuration, which seats up to 13 passengers. Seats convert into fully-flat beds, so that seven guests can easily sleep on board.
The aircraft interior features a classic-contemporary style, combining modest luxury and timeless elegance through a natural colour palette ranging from earthy tones of walnut brown wooden veneers to china-white leather seating and finest woollen Loro Piana fabrics with soft brown fishbone patterns.
The Gulfstream G650ER’s cabin is not only comfortable but contains the most advanced technology including satellite communications, high-speed internet, wireless local area network and Gulfstream’s Cabin Management System, which allows passengers to use their own personal electronic devices to control audio, video, lighting, temperature, window shades and other cabin functions.
The G650ER has the longest range at the fastest speed, traveling 7,500 nm/13,890 km at Mach 0.85 and 6,400 nm/11,853 km at Mach 0.90. The aircraft has the largest purpose-built business-jet cabin and offers passengers wider seats, more aisle room, 16 panoramic windows, the lowest cabin altitude of any business jet and quiet cabin sound levels.
Qatar Airways first announced at the Paris Air Show in 2009 the formation of a corporate jet subsidiary – Qatar Executive – as part of the airline’s ongoing robust global growth strategy, and continued commitment to the Middle East and global business travel community. Headquartered at Hamad International Airport, luxury jet services are available for worldwide charter on board the operator’s wholly-owned business jet fleet. The fleet comprises four Global 5000s, one Global XRS, three Challenger 605s, and three brand new Gulfstream G650ERs. The latest delivery follows Qatar Executive’s announcement in May 2015, to purchase up to 30 aircraft from Gulfstream Aerospace Corp, including firm orders and options that are a combination of both of Gulfstream’s new wide-cabin aircraft, the G500 and G600, and the flagship G650ER. Qatar Executive is the largest G650ER operator in the world. Qatar Executive’s service portfolio includes aircraft management, airliner charter, maintenance and FBO services.
