50 New Foodie Hot Spots Exclusively Selected By a New Team


The “Barcelona Foodie Fever” guide was presented to society last Monday at Coocció, the city’s first gastronomic incubator, located at Morales Street 27 in Barcelona. Indeed,  the perfect place for a full-fledged foodie event! The third volume of  BCN Foodie Guide, a project by Lamaga Comunica, arrives to Barcelona with 50 new, modern, seductive, delicious and bold places.  A selection of 50 restaurants, bars, cafes and cocktail bars to enjoy  not only new food & drink proposals, but also its people and the history behind each project. This new guide represents the consolidation of an initiative that emerged in December 2014 and which, with the publication of its third guide, keeps the spirit and the passion for discovering new foodie gems in Barcelona.

During the event, some of the restaurants featured within Barcelona Foodie Fever, shared their art for cooking, offering the assitants their most reputed dishes: Kitsune Sushi Bar, La Esquina, La Porca, Bendita Helena, Delicious & Sons, Chicken Shop and Dirty Burger and LeccaBaffi.

The presentation brought together all the team that has participated in this new edition and also, the usual followers of the BCN Foodie Guide. This edition was directed by Marta Garreta, from Lamaga Comunica, with a prologue by the journalist Ferran Imedio, from El Periódico and Gastronomistas. The authors who have selected the restaurants and venues include, Elisa Melero from By Petites, Naila Tahbaub, gastronomic collaborator in several media, Daniel Arbó and, Anna Alfaro from Justmebymyself and collaborator of Plateselector, Gal·la Esparó Larrégola from Barcelona a Mordiscos, Anna Carrascal from Cooltourtheblog, María from Barcelona Food Experience and Jairon García from Garcia Aurin, who has taken care of the photography.

Barcelona Foodie Fever presents 50 new foodie places in Barcelona. Restaurants, bars, cafes and cocktail bars that have recently opened and that are attractive for their gastronomic proposals, stories and interior design. Moreover, in this new volume, the team of the BCN Foodie Guide not only showcases all this new hot spots but also, they have selected top dishes that are impossible to forget once you try them: cevicherías, healthy & organic, selected meat, artisan desserts, fusion food. In fact, none of this projects is  “bread for a single day”, this are places to go over and over. “Fever”, as the title says.

As in previous editions, Barcelona Foodie Fever has the support of brands from the food and drink sectors such as: Cervezas Alhambra, Gramona, Celler Clos Pons, Coocció, Delicious&Sons, Gran Blau, Haig Club, Nitro Coffee, Slayer and Solán de Cabras.
