Sensational Restaurant On Sunset Boulevard | The Guild
The Guild is proud to announce the grand opening of their contemporary American restaurant on Sunset Boulevard featuring a seasonal menu of contemporary American favorites with an eclectic twist.
Chef and owner Diego Leporini presents a tightly curated menu utilizing the highest quality and freshest ingredients from local farmers and butchers, presented in a modern and imaginative style.
Located inside the iconic former Screen Actors Guild headquarters, The Guild is a contemporary American restaurant and rustic wine bar with chef and owner Diego Leporini at the helm. Speaking about the premise of The Guild, he says, “I found myself with a restaurant space where the previous three restaurants in that location failed. On top of that, the restaurant needed to be open in less than 3 months, and before opening, I would have to start paying rent. Remember I had no money, I was still looking for investors. I brought a lot of people to see the space, some people liked it and would get excited, then get cold feet and would disappear.”
The Guild features a somewhat minimalistic menu, presenting about a dozen seasonal dishes at a time, based on a family style concept. Some of our most anticipated dishes for this summer season include the Jidori Fried Chicken with kohlrabi fennel slaw, cornbread, and honey cup mustard as well as the Lamb Belly Tamale with queso fresco, pico de gallo, egg, salsa verde, and natural jus.
The Guild prides themselves on providing everyone with not only seasonal and delicious dishes, a wide selection of craft cocktails, and an impeccable boutique wine list with different varietals from all over the world, but also a lively rustic atmosphere with a nod to historyas it is located in the former longtime home of Screen Actors Guild. The Guild also offersbottomless brunch on weekends as well as seasonal specials such as Taco Tuesdays and BBQ Specials.
