The Ottomani | Igniting Your Soul With Fire
Ignite your soul with fire and a New Middle Eastern cuisine at The Ottomani
If your taste buds are tingling for an extraordinary New Middle Eastern cuisine, dine at Singapore’s sexiest Supper Club – The Ottomani. With fire at the core of The Ottomani, The Dandy Partnership and Executive Chef Nic Phillip bring you a unique and intimate dining experience.
Sexy and mysterious are two words that will come to mind when you first step into The Ottomani. Situated at the back of an old shop house along Peck Seah Road, guests are transported to a different realm as they step into this Middle Eastern fantasy. The dimly lit oil lamps, plush furniture and even the motifs add to the ambience of The Ottomani, perfect for an intimate dinner with loved ones.
With Chef Nic helming The Ottomani, you can be sure that every dish on the menu will be a hit. Chef Nic’s experience with Middle Eastern flavours and ingredients, coupled with flavours from his Australian roots and his recent stints at some of London’s best venues, including The Clove Club, #26 on the World’s 50 best list, and Yotam Ottalenghi’s Michelin starred Nopi, bring out an experience that is uniquely “Ottomani”.
As fire remains a consistent theme not just in the decor of The Ottomani, Chef Nic also incorporates it into the food. He uses a custom designed wood-fired earth pit for a few of the dishes served, such as the Sticky Pork Belly and Lamb Shoulder with Spiced Molasses and Sumac Gremolata. They are grilled overnight , bringing out the Middle Eastern flavours that speak of Chef Nic’s passion and dedication.
For those who are familiar with the ever popular kebab, do give Chef Nic’s Adana Beef Tartare Kebab a try! This dish is a reinvention of a traditional Middle Eastern dish and a testament to the modern twist at The Ottomani. For me, the winning dish of the night was unexpectedly the Ottomani Bread, paired with the most mouth watering walnut and smoked dates spread that set the bar high as a starter dish!
Wine and dine at The Ottomani with its exclusive mobile bar. Adding a personal touch to the service, bartenders bring the bar to you by preparing drinks on a mobile trolley with a selection of cocktails and Middlen Eastern wines specially curated by Symphony Loo. For The Ottomani, it is always more than just the amazing taste of the food but also the relationships they forge with every single guest.
The Ottomani stands out from the crowd with the delectable Middle Eastern cuisine that kept me on my toes and excited for more to come. More importantly, The Ottomani is always generous and sincere, going that extra mile to leave guests with the ultimate luxurious dining experience.
