The Painswick | New Yoga Retreat Series

The Painswick, part of The Calcot Collection, is a sweet-sixteen-bedroom grade II-listed boutique hotel in the Cotswolds, surrounded by rolling hills and countryside views.

This spring, the hotel is teaming up with its historic neighbour, the Rococo Gardens, and yoga instructor Kate Silver to launch their first ever series of Yoga RetreatsInstructor Kate, will be hosting the restorative overnight retreats on select dates through May and June for guests looking for a relaxed countryside getaway whilst perfecting their yoga moves.

The Restaurant at The Painswick

The two-day experience begins with a Zen Class at The Painswick hosted by Katie Silver, followed by a delicious healthy dinner in the restaurant, with a menu designed by acclaimed Chef Jamie McCallum. Afterwards, guests can relax in front of the fireplace in the cosy sitting room or retire to their rooms, which are uniquely designed, featuring stylish art and roll-top baths.

Rococo Gardens

The following morning, guests will be led on a guided walk with Katie and take in the beautiful sights of the Cotswold countryside and then relax with a Yoga Class in the famous Rococo Gardens, before returning to the hotel for a hearty brunch. 

The Treatment Room at The Painswick

The Rococo Gardens were designed in the 1940s by Benjamin Hyatt, and the gardens in the village of Painswick are the only surviving garden of the rococo period which are open to the public. They provide a tranquil setting to enjoy an alfresco yoga session. London based yogi Kate, teaches classes at Another Space and Energie Fitness as well as being an Lululemon Ambassador.
