This summer, three top creative minds worked together to compose a unique space for the most curious bon viveurs.
A partnership with fashion superstar Karl Lagerfeld, who designed the final details of the Odyssey restaurant, Joël Robuchon, the most awarded Michelin-starred chef that counts 31 stars on his name, and Carme Ruscalleda, one of the most awarded Spanish chefs, put together their creative expression to seduce with an exceptional fine dining experience for the most discerning palates.
The restaurant is located at the prestigious Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo, which receives its guests with the essence of celebration and victory. Accompanied with the Greek goddess-inspired mural next to the pool, it makes the walk through the terrace like stepping into a modern Olympus.
Spanish chef Carme Ruscalleda has made her name among the industry by cooking modern yet traditional inspired dishes. As a Chef that developed her career without standard education, she uses the experience as her technique. Carme is passionate about offering food that brings happiness and joy to her guests. A similar culinary approach is Joël Robuchon´s idea for the menus of the restaurant at Hotel Metropole. Known for using the best local products and carefully respecting traditional French cuisine and “joie de vivre,” it doesn’t seem surprising that this collaboration is extraordinary.
Open to the public only for July and August; guests can be delighted with a teaser of the culinary experience regularly offered in Sant Pau Barcelona. Chef Carme’s recognized restaurant in the Catalan coastline was the core inspiration for the summer menu of the Odyssey. Reinventing international dishes made into the Catalan style, such as Ceviche and Salmorejo, and getting inspired by Spanish artist like Picasso, Carme´s culinary proposal is a pleasure worthy to pay a visit to the Mediterranean.
