Conversations From Within | Kyanna Simone Simpson

We often separate the mind from the physical world, even though everything physical is manifested from an idea. The common desire to advance in one way or another makes us expand as human beings. Regardless of our background, culture, and social environment, we continuously seek to live the life we consider to be best for us and our power to achieve it.
But how does it work?
How do we manifest what we want?
I think the answer to that lies individually within all of us. Sometimes I catch myself dwelling on the gap between the reality I am living and the reality I want to manifest. But when I realize that life is always moving forward, I go back to acknowledging my faith. I shift my perception from observing my current reality to feeling the power of being its creator.

The constant battle with the self can halt movement in your life. It can halt not only your physical movement, but spiritual as well. I’ve dedicated much of my time to battling this struggle.
You are the strongest force getting in your way. Through observation and discussions with my mentors, I’ve learned to stop allowing self-doubt to create unnecessary roadblocks to success. There is a space that you are meant to fill in this world and it can grow as large as you desire. I’ve always wanted my space to be grand. I want to leave my mark on the world and prove to myself that I can do anything as long as I believe. Belief becomes manifestation which becomes fruition. This is a method I learned at the age of nineteen from a mentor of mine, Ms. Oprah Winfrey. I’m not sure if she was aware of her impact in the moment, but she changed my perception of life.
That moment made me pay more attention to the fire inside of me which tells me to dream big. I began to experience success regarding future endeavors, whether claiming upcoming acting roles, meeting new role models, shadowing producers and directors, or collaborating with entertainment greats. I have opened my mind and heart to new ideas and achievements well beyond my current situation. Through manifestation came my dedication to work hard and accomplish my goals. Instead of dwelling on self-doubt and being an obstacle to my own growth, I became my greatest aid. I began to place trust in myself.
Ms. Winfrey says, “You don’t become what you want, you become what you believe.” I encourage everyone to speak your desires for the future to the most sacred part of yourself (your soul, your energy, or your spirit) and believe in it with all your might. When you do that, it will bring forth bounds of joy into your life.
Today, I see the fruit of my manifestation. I have met many influential actors, producers, and directors. I put my doubts aside and continue to express my future goals to them. As a result, I’ve received a lot of support and advice in return. These experiences are increasing my level of confidence and allowing me to keep dreaming big and executing my goals. I know God put me on this Earth for a reason, and I’m determined to fill my space in this world with success, happiness, and love.
