GETTING WHAT I WANT
If I can agree that thoughts turn into physical things and experiences, you know that the secret to getting what you want is first forming it as a thought.
To do this, I have to practice the way of thinking mindfully in order to manifest my desires into reality. This will ultimately bring harmony into my life: complete unity with the Source/God and the Universe.
Source/God and the Universe are Love. If I am unhappy or imbalanced, it is because I have shifted my focus away from Love. The Universe is not governed by love and hate, but by love and (sometimes) the absence of love. Thus, Love is the natural state of being; I am meant to feel joyful and by doing so, that expands the Source/God, and the Universe.
The process of adjusting my mindset in order to feel joyful can be simply summed up in one-word APPRECIATION.
I WILL SEE IT WHEN I BELIEVE IT
If I agree that thoughts turn into things, situations and experiences, then the phrase “I will believe it when I see” should very much sound upside down to me. In order to believe something, I either have to accept what I have witnessed (with any of my senses) so far or I can accept what I have imagined as a part of my mind creative thought process.
A thought that keeps being repeated (either witnessed or imagined thought) creates a habitual pattern in the mind that usually leads to the formation of a belief, whether it is desired or not. So I can think of injustice once, twice, three times until thoughts of the same kind keep piling up. Eventually, I will start to believe that life IS NOT fair.
I can also think of justice, once, twice, three times until thoughts of the same kind keep piling up. Eventually, I will start to believe that life IS fair. This brings me to the understanding that only what is believed can be manifested in a deliberate way so “I will see it when I believe it” is a more accurate statement to focus on.
CONDITIONS, CONTRAST AND MANIFESTATIONS
If thought precedes manifestation then every PRESENT situation is actually a PAST thought manifested. If thought precedes manifestation then the PRESENT thoughts can be manifested in FUTURE.
In other words – my past thoughts manifest in the present and based on my reactions to those manifested thoughts, I create my future. If I like something from the past and want more of those experiences – I just let them in. If I don’t like something from the past and don’t want them – I redirect my thoughts to something else that is more satisfying. I understand that there is only the present and that my focus, like a flashlight, can be directed and re-directed to whatever I choose, at any given time.
I always and only live in the present and that’s where my past and future meet. The present is when I attract the past into the future by remembering, the present is when I create the future by imagining it. When I think about what powerful thinking center I am, I realize I am capable to go from past into the future with such precision at any given moment in time (as the present is all there is).
HAPPINESS COMES FROM WITHIN
If the thought precedes what is manifested, then it’s easy to say happiness is in MY OWN “hands.”
If there is any “labor” in life, it consists of deliberately picking and choosing where my thoughts will be directed. To feel the effort in focusing, thought happens only when I distract myself with negative manifestations from the past. When I keep in mind the power of redirecting thought, it is easy to feel good again quickly. And from that better-feeling place, nothing seems like a big deal anymore.
I love my life! I understand that everyone has their own path and that I enjoy mine no matter the conditions that surround me.
