NEW LEADING EDGE OF THOUGHT by Alicia Carrasco
The other day I was organizing a worldwide online event to share a positive message of happiness and success with 20 speakers and writers when I received some “unpleasant news.” Something happened that was not supposed to.
I tried to find a solution, but couldn’t. When I’m inside a problem, I can’t see anything but the problem. I reached a point when I realized that I was only making myself feel worse and worse and I decided to stop and just relax. I tried to convince myself that this unwanted situation was not the end of the world, even though I felt that it was. I consciously activated old thoughts that had helped me to handle unwanted events in the past such as: “This situation can be to my advantage” or “There are things that I am not seeing that will make all of this make sense.” I even asked a question that helps me open to possibilities even when it seems there are none “How could I improve this situation?”
So I let everything go. The next day I had the impulse to call someone I had just met for help and he told me “Trust me, everything is okay.”
And I did, I trusted him and my inner guidance that leads me to the perfect solution in this situation. Lots of coincidences and great interactions with people helped me along the way. Ultimately, I was happy that all of this had happened because I felt powerful, and I’m in my power when I allow the leading edge of thought to flow.
I talked to several people who helped me in such a kind way. I realized that I am stronger than any unwanted situation. As a consequence, I was more confident and happy in putting on the event.
So what’s the new leading edge of thought?
Thoughts are ever-expanding and that allows evolution. They can also be repetitive and regurgitate what already exists. Old thoughts can feel closed and limited while new thoughts feel open, fresh, expanding and life-giving.
New leading-edge thoughts can help you improve your situation whether you are satisfied or unsatisfied with your place in life. They allow the expansion that your life has inspired. They can give you a new perspective that allows a better outcome. They are inspired by new situations and they also allow to create more possibilities.
If you can think about better possibilities, you will be able to create them. If you can’t even think about it, then reality won’t manifest. So it all starts with a new leading-edge-thought.
In my experience the other day, at first I created some repetitive thoughts that made the momentarily unpleasant situation even more unpleasant. Then I realized that I was not in my full power, so I chose to go to the leading edge in my mind, creating thoughts outside of the reality that I was currently experiencing, deciding that the unwanted situation could be to my advantage. And then it was.
Now let me ask you, what could happen if you thought outside of the box? If you embraced multiple possibilities? What would happen if you opened the windows of your mind and allowed more and more fresh air of improvement to enter? What if you could take even more pleasure from thinking your thoughts?
Do you see? If you stayed with me, you are right there opening your eyes to new possibilities, riding the wave.
And you can have an easy way to do it, and you can repeat this trick all day every day to improve your life experience. You can ask yourself a question that doesn’t need an answer because the question itself calls the answers that will come now or later in a variety of ways. That one question allows the path of new possibilities; it’s the switch of the leading edge of thought.
How does it get any better than this?
No matter what you are living right now, asking this question and staying in it will allow you to receive more refreshing thoughts that will create a more hedonistic and happy life.
If you are not having such a great day, you feel bad and things seem complicated. “How does it get any better than this?”
And if you are thrilled, in the flow and having a great time. If everything feels delicious and you are in your full power and clarity. “How does it get any better than this?”
This question is like salt and pepper, it enhances every situation you are tasting.
If you practice asking this question often, you might become the freest and happiest person you know.
